As we celebrate our 20th year in business, let me personally welcome you to
the Harley Marine Services website. We are a highly safe, environmentally responsible, efficient, and customer service oriented company in the marine services business.
My goal for the Company upon its inception in 1987, was to become the safest
and most environmentally responsible marine transportation company in the country.
We strive to exceed our customer’s expectations, maintain a good standard of living for our employees, and improve the communities in which we live and operate.

Harley Marine Services is an ISO (International Organization for Standardization) /ISM (International Safety Management) and AWO RCP (American Waterway Operators – Responsible Carrier Program) certified company. These certifications were achieved
with the help and devotion of our fleet and personnel. HMS has adopted a Quality
and Safety Management System to continue ensuring personnel safety
and environmental protection, growing responsibly, improving on the quality
and reliability of services we provide, and reacting quickly to changing
market conditions and customer needs. This will enable us to constantly monitor
and continually improve our performance.

As a result of our strategic focus on safety, environmental protection, and customer service, Harley Marine continues to be one of the fastest growing marine transportation businesses and leading providers of marine transportation services. We have grown from one leased tug and barge in Seattle’s Puget Sound, into a 70-vessel fleet of tugs and barges with diversified marine operations in all major West Coast ports
